Leta Cordes Disappearance Updates

The American tourist Leta Cordes who disappeared in the Carribean island of St Maarten while on vacation on January 11, 2008 was featured on Dateline NBC this Saturday night.

She was vactioning with her husband Frank, and left by herself to the casino, only a short distance away from her hotel. Her husband reported her missing the next morning when he woke and she was not there.

Authorities have said there is no sign on foul play and have examined her husband closely. Also of interest is the casino shows no sign of Leta Cordes on security tapes and no one remembers seeing her enter or leave the casino that night.

The couple had took the vacation to hopefully repair an already troubled marriage. The F.B.I. has become involved and it remains the islands greatest mystery to date.

Here is a picture of Leta Cordes and her husband from Dateline NBC. Dateline NBC interviewed her husband asking him if he knew what happened to her and did he kill her. He said no to both questions.

This is awful shame to be brought upon anyone and the pain it has caused the families and friends involved. I hope that this news story tonite on Dateline will help shed new light into the investigation and the mystery can be solved.
